The Sala Terrena is one of the most beautiful and spacious rooms of its kind in Moravia. It was historically used to connect the chateau residence with the Chateau Garden. It has retained its original appearance and features stunning stucco decorations, wall frescoes, and sculptures. The decoration in the Sala Terrena reflects both the classical tradition and the connection between humans and nature, making it a very popular venue for wedding ceremonies.

Chapel of St. Sebastian
The interior of the chapel is one of the most exquisite examples of Moravian Rococo architecture. The walls are adorned with red and grey marble, gilded carvings, and stucco with Rococo ornamentation, created by sculptor František Ondřej Hirnle, a graduate of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts. The chapel was consecrated on 20 April 1766. Since 2022, it has been possible to hold religious weddings in the chapel. The space is ideal for small weddings.

Manský Hall
The rectangular hall with a barrel vault in the Archbishop’s Chateau in Kroměříž is illuminated by four windows on the west and east sides. The shorter walls feature semicircular niches with conches, into which Rococo tile stoves are set. The walls are covered with artificial marble and adorned with gilded Rococo carvings. The bishop’s throne with a canopy, set on three steps, is positioned in the center of the eastern wall. The hall was used to represent the secular power of the bishops of Olomouc and served as a venue for Manský courts and assemblies. It is suitable for larger weddings.

Chateau garden
The Chateau Garden was established in 1509 and, over the centuries, expanded to an impressive area of 53 hectares. Its content and appearance have changed significantly over time. Originally a vegetable and fruit garden, it was transformed into a Baroque garden in the 17th century. In the 19th century, it was converted into a stylish landscape park, and today it features over 200 species of rare trees from various parts of Europe, America, and Asia. It is the perfect location for a romantic outdoor wedding.
You can choose from three different locations within the Chateau Garden for your wedding ceremony, or arrange a custom spot. In case of rainy weather on the day of your wedding, an alternative ceremony can be arranged in the chateau interiors for an additional fee (Sala Terrena). This venue is suitable for small, medium, and large weddings alike.
