The Archbishop’s Chateau is one of the most significant Baroque monuments in Moravia. For centuries, it has been the property of the bishops and archbishops of Olomouc who used it as a representative residence and as a place for crucial meetings and negotiations.

In 1998, the chateau and the chateau gardens were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Car Parking

Paid car parking is available close to the chateau and gardens.

The chateau is not barrier-free, gardens are barrier-free.

Pets

It is forbidden to enter the chateau and gardens with dogs or any other animals.

Cyclists

It is forbidden to enter the chateau or the gardens by bicycle; there are bicycle racks available in front of the gardens.

Background for Children

The social background of the chateau is equipped with a diaper changing table.

Refreshments

There are several snack bars throughout the gardens as well as various restaurants close to the chateau.
